So people will go away and other people will go back and other folks will trade.”

“But actually now it’s roughly cool as a result of we don’t have to have him die that manner,” John informed journalists at the time, in line with TV Guide. “We’ve been speaking about having the recaps each and every week [next season] have a special way that he died.”
John added, “We were attempting to think up tactics to be sure that he was once now not with us. We sought after to perform a little tag where we had been at a polo match and the Brazilians would cross get their mallets and drop down his head.”
Steve resurfaced in Fiona’s existence in Season 5.
Two seasons later, Jimmy returns to Chicago, and Fiona sleeps with him, cheating on then-husband Gus (Steve Kazee). Jimmy tells her he canceled an out of the country activity to be along with her — when really, he was once canned from the gig — but Fiona breaks up with him for excellent.

“It’s attention-grabbing because when I used to be pitched the show, [they] said that this [dating] is a in reality f--ked up model of true love,” Justin advised THR. “These two are intended for each and every different; they are the heart of the tale; it’s Romeo and Juliet. So, I’ve at all times rooted for the 2 of them because they had been both in reality broken other folks [whose] hearts lined up because they were each broken.”
