Twitter Users React to Keke Palmers Baby Name: "Black History Month for the Win"

After Keke Palmer published her baby's name on social media, Twitter users gave various takes on the ‘Nope’ superstar’s distinctive selection for her firstborn.

Actress and singer Keke Palmer’s baby name variety may as smartly be a trending topic on Twitter, taking into account all the online discourse about it. And even Keke has joined the chat.

In case you neglected it, the Password host announced the start of her first child with an Instagram publish on Feb. 27 bursting with pictures and videos of herself and boyfriend Darius Jackson having a look smitten with the newborn, who was once born two days prior.

Keke Palmer printed her collection of baby name on Tuesday as she announced the toddler’s arrival. “Born all over Black History Month, with a name to fit,” she wrote in her Instagram caption, along a grinning emoji. “Leodis Andrellton Jackson. Welcome to the global, baby Leo.”

On his Instagram, in the meantime, Darius told followers that Leodis used to be born on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 3:28 p.m.

So a long way, more than 2 million Instagram users have appreciated Keke’s put up, and fellow celebrities are celebrating the news. “Congratulations!” newly minted EGOT winner Viola Davis wrote. “Beautiful baby.”

“So precious!” added The Little Mermaid celebrity Halle Bailey.

And rapper Big Sean wrote, “Big congrats! Welcome to the membership.”

Famous other people also left loving comments on Darius’s submit, too. “Congrats to you and @keke,” Good Trouble megastar Sherry Cola wrote. “Blessings!”

“Congratulations,” added tv host Kendall Kyndall.

Some Twitter users love the name, and a few are scratching their heads.

So some distance, Keke’s baby name has gotten a variety of reactions on Twitter. Many lovers appreciate the selection.

“Keke Palmer baby were given a Black ass, nation ass name,” @123itsmeMary wrote. “I adore it.”

@thelocdlashtech tweeted, “Keke Palmer naming her baby Leodis is why I really like her. 'Cause I just know she was ticked when she made up our minds on that name. Black History Month for the win.”

Other other folks, however, weren’t feeling it.

Keke said that the name is “giving I marched with Martin.”

One Twitter person made up a resounding backstory for the name. “Know your history,” @QuanSai tweeted. “Leodis Andrellton Jackson used to be born on February 27, 1879, in Hobson City, Alabama, to parents Darius Jackson and Lauren Keyana Palmer. Leodis is credited with inventing the cast-iron skillet.”
