This fall, Netflix revived the ABC hit festival series The Mole, a recreation that calls for one contestant to stay hidden in undeniable sight.

Hosted by means of Alex Wagner, the 2022 reboot introduced more drama than ever sooner than. Each episode, one participant was once eradicated, and as the season advanced, the finalists grew closer to uncovering the truth.

At last, on Friday, Oct. 21, the Season 1 finale debuted on Netflix and a winner used to be in the end published. Distractify sat down with the final 3 — Will Richardson, Joi Schweitzer, and Kesi Neblett — who were given candid about their methods. So who wins Season 1 of The Mole? Read on for spoilers!

So who wins ‘The Mole’ in 2022?

With simplest three contestants ultimate, the finalists had been presented one final cash grab. Episode 10 saw Will, Joi, and Kesi secure an additional $5,000, which introduced the full prize pot to $101,500. Ahead of the large expose, the stakes could not were higher.

The determination, Joi shared, used to be a “$100,000 mistake,” as each her and Kesi’s answers had been fallacious. Will’s wager, on the other hand, was spot-on. In turn, he took home the win. So, who was the Mole?

All 12 competition on this season of The Mole gave it their all. But in the end, it was once Will who cracked the case. After months of maintaining her standing a secret, Kesi was printed as the Mole. (Surprise!)

It seems her makes an attempt to sabotage the group were made in useless. With this, Will took house all the prize pot.

In our unique interview, Will printed the strategy that led him to the finale and helped lie to his co-stars until the tip. "When I found out [Joi] had been going for me since the beginning, I started playing into that a lot harder,” the reality TV star recalled. "Like she's going to tell you, I began handcuffing myself by means of now not the usage of my journal to jot down notes as a result of I do know she was paying attention.”

Though disenchanted, Joi applauded her co-stars for taking part in the long sport and doing it neatly. "I wish I would have stuck to my gut but what can I do?" she shared. "[Kesi] played a very good role. And congratulations to this guy, [Will].”
