There is a storyline opening for a sequel film.
At the top of the movie, when Kevin and his neighbor Joy go away the home, a bulb begins to flicker. This gives the idea that Randy is listening and may make a go back. Or, it would even be Ernest coming back to seek vengeance on the circle of relatives after Frank pushed him out of the window. There hasn't been any reputable phrase from Netflix if there might be a sequel film but.
The handiest factor that may extend a imaginable sequel would be time. The director Christopher Landon, who also directed Happy Death Day, recently reflected on what it took to capture the speculation of David Harbour being a ghost. "Every time I shot David, I had to shoot him four different ways to achieve the look that we have in the film. So that was very, very daunting.
