It used to be probably the most greatest questions that arose from the Obi-Wan Kenobi collection.
Now that the Obi-Wan Kenobi finale has dropped, we can fully read about how and why Reva looked as if it would completely understand how to attract Kenobi out of hiding on Tatooine.
But why did she select Leia?
Reva met her fit in little Leia.
How does Reva know about Leia?
Reva may have discovered Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) was once once Anakin Skywalker, given that she noticed him slaughter her pals throughout Order 66.
However, she obviously does not recognize a connection between Vader and little Leia. Reva considered Leia as treasured bait on account of Bail Organa's (Jimmy Smits) hyperlink to Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor).
The Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend) used to be livid with Reva for kidnapping the daughter of an Imperial senator. Reva explained that she found out a connection between Bail and Obi-Wan in the archives.
She doesn't understand that Leia is Vader's daughter. Reva does try to use the Force to see into Leia's mind when she kidnaps her again. However, the little princess used to be in a position to protect her thoughts. Besides, Leia herself nonetheless did not know the reality about her father!
How does Reva know about Luke?
Obi-Wan was once smart to not inform Leia the reality about her folks. However, Reva does inadvertently be informed about Luke's (Grant Feely) importance due to Bail himself. After Vader leaves Reva to die after stabbing her in the stomach, Reva notices a holo message that Haja (Kumail Nanjiani) dropped.
The message is garbled but Reva will get the gist of it. Vader has a son on Tatooine. It's the perfect alternative for Reva's revenge against the person who slaughtered her pals.
Reva travels to Tatooine, keen to find Luke. Owen (Joel Edgerton) and Beru (Bonnie Piesse) try to blast Reva back to kingdom come, however they fail to prevent her.
Luke flees into the Tatooine sands. However, the boy tumbles from a super top as he tries to run from Reva. He passes out and Reva has the risk to kill him, proper then and there.
Reva isn't completely evil.
Reva can not bring herself to kill Luke. She sees herself as a powerless youngling in his stead. For the first time in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Reva chooses mercy.
And she hates herself for it. She brings Luke back to Owen, Beru, and Obi-Wan. Reva looks like she let her buddies down.
Obi-Wan stated her selection would finally bring her pals peace. And that's what set her with the exception of Vader. So, Reva never found out Leia's connection to her former Sith boss, but she used to be very aware of Luke's importance. Could that cause a subject matter in a potential 2d season of Obi-Wan Kenobi?
