Read on for the operating listing of The Masked Singer Season 5 finds!

1. Kermit the Frog as Snail

Source: Instagram

In the first actual episode of Season 5, Snail used to be published to be none other than adorable Muppet Kermit the Frog! We’re gonna be honest — we didn’t even realize Muppets had been an choice, and this disclose is making us reconsider everything we’ve ever considered the show.

The clues that ended in Kermit’s unmasking included a large teddy bear (a reference to his BFF Fozzie Bear), Swedish meatballs (referencing the Swedish Chef), and a treasure chest (Muppet Treasure Island, any person?).

2. Caitlyn Jenner as Phoenix

Source: FOX

Fans who guessed former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner are relatively spectacular as a result of clues for the Phoenix have been few and a long way between. “I’ve risen from the ashes" as Phoenix's tagline suggests a kind of rebirth, which could fit the style icon's life.

In the second episode of the season, we finally got a little more info, including that the Phoenix had some "tea" to share (which could point to her reality TV appearances) and that "thousands and thousands saw me as a superhero" (which makes sense because Caitlyn made great strides for trans representation). The clue package also had more hints to the LGBTQ community and the family of Phoenixes likely represented the Kardashian and Jenner clan.

3. Danny Trejo as Raccoon

Source: fox

Alright, who didn't see this one coming? Danny Trejo has a pretty unmistakably gruff voice, and many fans could tell he was the 4. Logan Paul as Grandpa Monster

Source: fox

Although some fans (and judge Nicole Scherzinger) believed that Jake Paul was in the mask, it turned out to be his older bro all along. Grandpa Monster was controversial influencer-turned-boxer Logan Paul. The clue that claimed that Grandpa Monster trained for battle before makes sense when you consider Logan's had a few fights already and is next set to fight Floyd Mayweather. It would be hard to enter a fight like that without some serious training. A Boxer dog in one clue package also hints the person in the mask is a boxer.

The Grandpa Monster also revealed that he caused a lot of trouble over the years, and his performance of "Bad Reputation" is definitely a nod to Logan's controversial roots. And the image of a star hitting a web is a clear hint that the person in the mask is an internet celeb. The weight reading 6.2 tons works on two levels. It's a nod to Logan's training, but it's also a nod to his height.

5. Nick Cannon as Bulldog

Source: FOX

Well, we've been asking all season, "Where's Nick Cannon?" And while we were told he tested positive for COVID-19 in February of 2021, it looks like The Masked Singer didn't want to do a season without him. Enter: Bulldog, one of the wildcards for this season. On the night in which Bulldog was introduced, he was also eliminated, leaving us with very few clues and time for guesses.

But his performance of "Candy Girl" alone was enough for a lot of fans, who knew that it was definitely the OG Masked Singer host hiding under there. Nick's reintroduction to the show also marks the end of Niecy Nash's time as host, as Nick will resume his hosting duties next week.

6. Mark McGrath as Orca

Source: FOX

While the judges may have guessed rockers Billy Joe Armstrong and Dave Grohl, the Orca on The Masked Singer was revealed to be none other than Sugar Ray lead singer and '90s icon Mark McGrath. The Orca had revealed that he thought he was a punchline when he was 24 and that his father gave him until he was 25 to become successful as a singer. Mark had joined Sugar Ray at age 24 and landed his first record deal at 25, so he definitely hit that deadline out of the park.

Another clue was that weird pizza with pumpkin. Mark had appeared in a Smashing Pumpkins music video. The clock reading 2:59 was also a clue. On a 24 hour clock, that's 14:59, the title of Sugar Ray's third album.

7. Tamera Mowry-Housley as Seashell

Source: FOX

One of our childhood faves was behind the Seashell mask all along! Sister, Sister star and former host of The Real Tamera Mowry-Housley was the beautiful Seashell. Fans had guessed that Tamera or her sister Tia could've been in the mask. They were both born in Germany and moved around a lot as children, the broom could be a reference to their role on Twitches, and the chameleon could reference their episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? in which they both shifted into — you guessed it — chameleons!

But here's why it had to be Tamera. Week 3 revealed a stopwatch set for two minutes — which is exactly how much older Tamera is than Tia. Plus, the Seashell was married to "a complete jock." Tia married a fellow actor, whereas Tamera married Adam Housley, a former professional baseball player.

8. Bobby Brown as Crab

Source: FOX

A pioneer of New Jack Swing, there were plenty of clues that pointed toward Bobby Brown as being behind the Crab mask, so it wasn't a total surprise that Ken Jeong called it before the reveal! For starters, his clue of marshmallows and that "bustin'" line in his clue package made us all think of Ghostbusters. Bobby performed the theme song for its sequel and had a cameo in the film. Additionally, the jack card was a nod to New Jack Swing, of which Bobby is considered to be one of the kings.

9. Tyrese Gibson as Robopine

Source: FOX

The reveal of Robopine was a little controversial. Why? Well, because he lied, which we didn't know was allowed. According to Robopine, he was a 60-year-old grandfather-of-two from Costa Rica. Tyrese Gibson, who was behind the mask, is 42, his oldest daughter is 13 and certainly has no kids, and he was born in California. Still, despite the trickery, most fans already knew who was behind the mask.

When Cluedle-Doo revealed that Robopine was "professional at now not turning into roadkill," and Robopine himself said that his time on The Masked Singer was an "action-packed and fast-paced ride," fans who recognized Tyrese's voice, who is also a professional R&B singer, were certain it was him. Tyrese starred as Roman Pearce in six Fast and Furious movies. Plus, the toys revealed in Week 7 were meant to reference his breakout role in 2001's Baby Boy.

10. Hanson as The Russian Dolls

Source: FOX

Fans were pretty confident that the voices behind the Russian Dolls masks belonged to the former boy band group Hanson! It was no surprise that when the dolls were unmasked on the May 12 episode, viewers saw Zac, Isaac, and Taylor Hanson on the stage.

11. Omarion as Yeti

Source: FOX

R&B singer and B2K member Omarion turned out to be behind the Yeti mask! Fans were able to guess his voice, but a few key clues also gave it away. For one thing, the Yeti talked about coming from a long line of strong women, and Omarion's fans know how important his mom and three sisters are to him. Plus, the red heart and bunny in one of his clue packages point to his Love & Hip Hop stint. And his name, Omarion Ishmael Grandberry, was even a clue, as the Yeti was eating toast with berries on top in a clue package.

12. Donnie Wahlberg as Cluedle-Doo

Source: FOX

Was Jenny McCarthy really not able to guess her husband's voice? Surprising Jenny and the audience, Cluedle-Doo turned out to be New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg. We never quite got the same amount of info on Cluedle-Doo as we did on the other performers, but New Kids on the Block superfans said it wasn't just Donnie's voice that gave him away — it was his dance moves!

13. Wiz Khalifa as Chameleon

Source: FOX

Fans had a feeling that it was Wiz Khalifa behind the Chameleon mask, which came in third place in Season 5. For starters, his height of 6 feet, 4 inches was a giveaway as the Chameleon was certainly on the taller side. Plus, the Chameleon's music choices definitely pointed toward a rapper.

The "CAMOFLAG" license plate on the Chameleon's motorcycle was a reference to Wiz's ex-military father. The Chameleon also said something that pointed toward Wiz's family. He said he lost someone who "was once continuously attacked for who she used to be." Wiz's sister, who was transgender, died in 2017.

14. JoJo as Black Swan

Source: FOX

From the moment fans heard her sing, they knew that JoJo Levesque, better known as JoJo, was behind the Black Swan mask, which came in second place. Though her voice was a giveaway, the other important clue came from Cluedle-Doo, who revealed in the second episode that the Black Swan "has covered a monster." JoJo once covered T-Pain's song "Can't Believe It," and back in Season 1 of The Masked Singer, he was revealed to be the Monster.

Plus, JoJo was raised by a single mom. Fans also learned that the Black Swan had a similar upbringing.

15. Nick Lachey as Piglet

Source: FOX

Fans were pretty sure that the Piglet was former 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey from his voice alone. But, as his wife, Vanessa Lachey, pointed out in an exclusive interview with Distractify, his name comes up every season. Knowing that he won as the Piglet in Season 5 of The Masked Singer, we suppose fans will have to stop guessing him when Season 6 rolls round.
