During a telling interview on the Variety Studio, Brooke unfolded in regards to the gut-wrenching emotions that came with losing her "controlling" mother. “You don’t ever get better from shedding a father or mother,” she began. “It’s a primal factor. You learn how to put it in a distinct place for your heart."
